When used with the AV12 Rear Connector Module, an ADA-6081V dual
audio DA and VDA-6001V dual video DA may be mounted side by side.
The two GPI outputs are shared between the two PCB error detector
systems. GPO1 low indicates an error condition in either the audio
signals in stereo DA1, or the video/sync signals in video DA1. Likewise,
GPO2 low indicates an error condition in either the audio signals in
stereo DA2, or the video/sync signals in video DA2.
The ADA-6081(V) has a serial diagnostics port that allows it to report to
Leitch’s CCS Pilot application. CCS allows access to error status, set-up
information and control of the module by a remote PC. In addition to
the front board LED status being reported, sustained loss of audio and
excessive peak audio amplitudes are reported. When fitted with the
remote variable gain option (ADA-6081V), the audio level can be
adjusted via CCS.
The ADA-6081(V) module is part of the Genesis modular range of
interface products and can be mounted in the 4RU FR-6004 frame. The
card can be used with the A10 Rear Connector Module.
The card comes in two versions:
• ADA-6081 Analog Audio Distribution Amplifier: Dual stereo
(4-channel) analog audio DA
• ADA-6081V Analog Audio Distribution Amplifier: Dual stereo
(4-channel) remote variable gain analog audio DA
