6.1 Setting the groove depth
6.2 Adjusting the guide and rear guide rollers
The straight top edge of the
indicator (17)
shows the groove depth on the
scale (18)
. To set the groove depth,
use the
adjusting screw (19).
As a rough guide, use two thirds of the covering thickness and up to half
the wire diameter. However, the specifications provided by the manufacturer always take priority. Check the
groove depth by carrying out a grooving test.
Align the
guide roller (9)
and
rear guide roller (20)
centrally in relation to the cutter blade. To adjust the position
of the rollers, use an open-end wrench to loosen the narrow hexagon nut on the base plate. If you need to change
the rollers, you can remove them completely by loosening the narrow hexagon nut with the open-end wrench and
then using a
size 5 hexagon key (15)
.
6.3 Adjusting the side roller for pimpled flooring
For pimpled flooring, move the
side roller (15)
if necessary. To do this, loosen the screw with the
size 5 hexagon
key (16)
and move the
side roller (15)
to the required position. Then retighten the screw.
