In these instructions for using the Leigh

Dovetail Jig, we have recommended

using certain cutters and board sizes

just because they are easy to work with.

When you have cut some practice joints

and gained confidence in your ability to

get the results you want, feel free to use

the cutter selection charts in Appendix II

to plan whatever dovetail routing you

need for your own projects.
