This operating manual describes the special
functionsoftheindividualmodulesoftheLeica
DM microscopy series and contains important
instructions for their operational safety, main-
tenance,andaccessories.

The "Safety concept" booklet contains addi-
tionalsafetyinformationregardingtheservice
work, requirements and the handling of the
microscope,accessoriesandelectricalaccesso-
riesaswellasgeneralsafetyinstructions.

You can combine individual system articles
with articles from external suppliers (e.g. cold
lightsources,etc.).Pleasereadtheusermanual
andthesafetyrequirementsofthesupplier.

Beforeinstalling,operatingorusingtheinstru-
ments, read the user manuals listed above. In
particular,pleaseobserveallsafetyinstructions.
