GG/GMX902 GNSS
operation
Recommended operation of the GMX902 GG/GMX902 GNSS is with the GMX902
GG/GMX902 GNSS Web interface or Leica GNSS Spider software or with the
Leica Binary 2 (LB2) interface. Contact your Leica Geosystems representative
for information on LB2 documentation.
The GMX902 GG/GMX902 GNSS instrument is delivered with default settings
which cover the needs of the typical user. Use the Web interface or Leica GNSS
Spider to adjust the GMX902 GG/GMX902 GNSS settings.
Sleep mode
The instrument reverts to sleep mode when
•
the power falls below 10.5 V.
•
there is no traffic on the ports P1/P2 for more than 10 minutes after the
initial instrument start up, or for more than the configured sleep mode
time.
The sleep mode is switched off per default.
Use the tool "GMX902ConfigTool" on the GMX900 CD to change the sleep
mode.
When in sleep mode, the PWR LED is off. Any traffic on the serial port will wake
up the instrument again.
