CG

Computer Generated content are files that describe 3D objects and/or animations. The data
from those files are then either viewed using a model viewer or rendered out to a photo or
video. There are broadly two methods for bringing CG content to your LUME PAD:

Maya Plugin

: Using Leia’s simple Maya Plugin, you can use the powerful Arnold renderer

to export your 3D creations as photos or videos.

LeiaViewer

: Leia’s made it simple to explore and display your 3D creations on the LUME

PAD in different ways and with different backgrounds using LeiaViewer. A variety of the
most popular file types and formats are supported by default, including .fbx, .obj, and .stl.

Photos

Photography is a medium that has existed for over a century, but with the LUME PAD, it’s
evolved. With the LUME PAD, you can capture, convert, view, share, and edit your Lightfield
photos.

Capture

: With the built-in LeiaCam app, you can easily take Lightfield photos the same way

you take photos on other devices. These images are saved as Leia Image Format, which are
backwards compatible and show up as 2D images on non-Leia devices, but have all the
Lightfield magic stored in the device metadata.

Convert

: With the LUME PAD, it’s easy to convert your regular old photos into Lightfield

images. With the built-in LeiaPlayer app, you can pick any photo on your device and
instantly run 2D to 3D Conversion to get yourself a Lightfield image.

View

: With LeiaPlayer, you can browse all your 2D and Lightfield photos in one place in an

intuitive yet powerful image browser with folders, tabs, and albums. And for Lightfield
photos, you can easily switch back and forth between Lightfield and 2D so you can see the
differences instantly.
