9 Auxiliary Control Boards
There are several control boards used for additional I/O, depending on the project requirements. These
may or may not be mounted in your dimmer cabinet, depending on the quantity of boards and the
available space. If not in the rack, they will be located in an auxiliary cabinet.
9.1 Dry Contact AV Interface Board (P/N C1470)
The C1470 Dry Contact AV Interface Board provides (7) inputs suitable for interfacing with dry
contacts such as from a motion detector, BMS system, fire alarm system or the like. It can be
configured to activate the system Panics, Take Control function, presets, scripts, lock groups or
raise/lower function. Three boards are allowed in a system, addressed via the SW1 rotary ID switch.
The boards are wired on one of the Collage control links from TB2, 3, or 4. The outputs mimic the
input, so if a preset is activated via a momentary input signal, that output LED and signal will be
maintained. Figure 21 illustrates the wiring of the board. The DIP switches are factory set for the
particular function required by the project and should not be changed unless directed by the factory.
