REMOTE CONTROL PROGRAMMING
(separating 2 bases)
Separate Two Bases
-
for independent adjustable base
movement,
perform the following numbered procedure.
STEP 1
Unplug both bases from electrical power outlet. Position
both bases on their sides, in close proximity to each other.
CAUTION: AT LEAST TWO PEOPLE ARE RECOMMENDED FOR
HANDLING AND MOVING ADJUSTABLE BASE.
STEP 3
On each base, remove the male plug of the dual sync
cable from the control box (

).
STEP 4
On each base, remove the cable from the female plug
of the dual sync cable and plug it into the control box
(
FIGURES 16 and 17
).
STEP 2
Locate control box on both bases. Locate dual sync cable
(
FIGURE 12
).
STEP 5
Plug base 1 into electrical power outlet. Using a pointed
object, push the learn button
in
two times in rapid succession
(
FIGURE 18
). The underbed lighting will come on.
STEP 6
Remove the battery compartment door from the both
remote controls.
STEP 7
On remote control 1, press and hold the
learn switch
(

) until the underbed lighting goes off.

STEP 8
Repeat Steps 5, 6 & 7 with base 2 and remote control 2.
STEP 9
Turn both bases over so they are resting on their legs.
CAUTION: AT LEAST TWO PEOPLE ARE RECOMMENDED FOR
HANDLING AND MOVING ADJUSTABLE BASE.
Independent remote control operation is now
restored (remote control 1 operating base 1; remote
control 2 operating base 2).
