“Specify a location” and type in the

“E:\Driver\Lan\Realtek\Rtl8139\La
n_inf\Win98”, or browse for it
(assuming E is the letter of your
CD-ROM drive). Then click “Next”.
Step 12:
The system will then search for
the device the driver is for. The
wizard will let you know when the
device is found. Click “Next” when
you see the dialog box as shown
below. The system is now
updating your driver.
Step 13:
When the updated driver is
installed successfully, the wizard
dialog box will tell you so as
shown in the figure below.
5.3.2 Under Windows NT 4.0
Step 1:
Open the Control Panel, which is found in the Main program group of the
Program Manager.
Step 2:
Start the Network control panel item.
Step 3:
Select the "Add Adapter..." option. In the list that appears, scroll to the
bottom and select the option "<Other> Requires disk from manufacturer".
Click on "Continue".
Step 4:
Put the "WinFast Software Package CD" in your CD-ROM drive and
specify the path: "X:\Driver\Lan\Realtek\Rtl8139\Lan_inf\Winnt4" (X is the
letter of your CD-ROM drive), then click “OK”.
Step 5:
In the list that appears, double-click on "Realtek 8139 PCI Fast Ethernet
