In the “Top-Fill” charging phase, the battery is charged with +6 % more current
compared to the main charging phase. In addition, the battery is charged with
a pulse charge to accelerate the charging process.
In the range [-30 °C ... -35 °C] and [+45 °C ... +60 °C] the current is reduced to
0.
In the maintenance phase, the battery voltage is checked periodically; if the
battery voltage falls below 2.17 V per cell, the battery is charged for 2 minutes
with a pulse charge of 0.05 C.
