- Before installing and using the appliance, read this instruction manual

- This machine is designed to make espresso coffee or steam, so al-
ways be careful not to get burnt due to incorrect use.
- Never touch the hot parts. Use only the levers and handgrips as de-
scribed in this manual.
- Always keep all the packaging components (box, polystyrene foam,
bags, etc.) away from the reach of children since such items pose a
potential danger. Dispose of them safely and without harming the en-
vironment.
- This appliance is for household use only as described in this manual:
to make espresso coffee or other hot drinks, to produce steam for
heating milk or other hot drinks. Any other use is considered inappro-
priate. The manufacturer shall not be liable for damage or injuries cau-
sed by incorrect or irrational use of this appliance.
- Before connecting the appliance, make sure that its rating (see rating
plate at the bottom of the machine) matches the mains rating.
Qualified personnel or a person who has read this manual can install
this machine according to the current standards of the country where
the appliance will be used, and following the manufacturer instruc-
tions.
- For electrical safety reasons regarding this appliance, the mains
should be earthed. The manufacturer shall not be liable for damage
or injury caused by the lack of an earth connector in the mains.
In case of doubt, contact a certified electrician who could check the
electrical compatibility between the mains and the appliance maxi-
mum power shown in the rating plate.
