Wall Hung Vanity Installation Instructions
• Latitude wall hung vanities are constructed with a secondary top fastening strip on the inside of the cabinet.
• All fastening strips are doweled into the cabinet sides.
• Even with this additional structural integrity, Latitude STRONGLY RECOMMENDS additional support under the cabinet.
This could be a framed ledge, or a ledger strip, or a matching panel.
• 3-1/2” length minimum. Screws must be used in top and bottom fastening strips and connect with wood wall framing.
Additional frame blocking within the wall is strongly suggested.
• Screws should include a washer to better distribute the holding power and keep from pulling through the fastening strip
material.
• Adjacent cabinets should be fastened together at all 4 corners to help distribute the weight load.
• Additionally, on sink bases, the solid top should not be removed, and a perimiter of 2” or more must remain intact.
• Following these recomendations will insure a secure installation.
