Leveling Deck 2

Shims can be applied between the deck pan 
mount and the cross tube. Shims may be 
obtained from your Lastec dealer, part number 
045446. These shims are 1/16th inch thickness.

Leveling Decks 4 and 5

Decks 4 and 5 can be leveled 
by applying spacer P116 or 
T104 to the ball joints as 
shown in the illustration. 
Spacer P116 is a 1/8th inch 
spacer and T104 is 1/4th inch. 
All joint spacers may need to 
be arranged until the deck is in 
the proper level configuration.

Additional leveling of the rear deck pans on decks 4 and 5 can be 
accomplished by using the turnbuckle of the deck height adjustment 
chain, as described in the following section,

Replacing Wheels

If one wheel is replaced, the wear level of the surrounding tires may 
cause the deck to cant in one direction. Leveling the decks due to a 
tire replacement may be necessary. Spacers on the wheel yoke 
assembly may be rearranged to accommodate the new tire. See 

Section 5 Wheels 

of the
