Put the rear guard down to cover the cutting head properly.
•
When the cutter is properly coupled to the tractor, start the tractor and then turn on its PTO
shaft which should run up gradually – increase shaft speed slowly up to its required/rated
level.
•
While turning the PTO shaft on, the attendant’s place is in the tractor cab. When its rated
speed is reached, the attendant should stand about 3 m away from the supporting feet
frame, see fig., or behind the face shield for attendance (type FZ 560 T-M). In this case the
face shield should be tipped in its working position.
•
Keep an eye on continuity of the cutter run-up, in particular observe unwished vibrations
during its initial run. In this case turn off the cutter immediately and contact an authorised
service.
•
Do not leave the machine unattended.
•
If any person or animal enters the danger area while cutting, then stop
working immediately, respectively turn the PTO shaft off.
•
Before putting the cutter into operation the joint shaft has to be properly coupled to the
PTO shaft and the cutter hydraulic system has to be connected with the tractor hydraulics
through related quick-couplers on the tractor rear.
