OPERATION
Connecting for the first time
Connect the AC power adaptor to your mains power socket, then connect the other end of the
adaptor to the DC IN socket on the rear of the unit
Switch the power button to ON, on the rear of the unit
Press the POWER/MODE button to power the unit on. The screen will now be illuminated (If you
press and hold the POWER/MODE again, the unit can be turned off and the screen will dim. This is
called stand-by mode)
While the unit is turned on, the POWER/MODE button can be pressed to scroll through various audio
input modes, which are: iPod/iPhone, FM Radio and Auxiliary audio (AUX)
About Backup Batteries
Batteries can be used to back up your clock and alarm settings in the event of a power failure or if
the unit is unplugged temporarily
The LCD screen will remain off during this time. Other features such as the alarm can not be used at
this point
Make sure the connection between the AC adapter and the unit is secure, otherwise your settings
can be lost if the batteries are removed
Installing Backup Batteries
Locate and open the battery compartment on the bottom of the unit
Insert 2 x AAA batteries, following the correct polarity (+ / -) drawings on the inside the battery
compartment
Standby mode
Press and hold the POWER/MODE button until the display screen dims
Note: After a period of no activity the screen will automatically dim
Set the Clock automatically
Simply dock your iPhone to automatically update the time from your iPhone
Note: This usually takes about 5 seconds
Set the Clock manually
From the standby mode, press the MENU button. The display will begin flashing
