9.3 CHANGING THE BATTERIES
•
The first battery is located on the back of the unit next to
the generator. It is an external battery for the generator.
•
Disconnect the battery cable first.
•
There are 4 bolts on this battery to undo in order to
remove it — 2 per side.
•
Once bolts are removed, remove the straps
.
•
Replace old battery with a new one and make the proper
connections.
•
Replace the straps and secure the bolts back into them
and continue use.
•
The second battery is in the job box underneath the
battery charger.
•
Disconnect the battery cable first.
•
There are 4 bolts to undo, 2 per side.
•
Once the bolts are removed carefully the straps and
battery charger with
it.
•
Replace the old battery with a new one and insert back
into the battery slot.
•
Place the straps and battery charger back into place and
carefully make the proper connections and continue use.
•
The second battery is in the job box underneath the
battery charger.
•
Disconnect the battery cable first.
•
