In the event of a
n
overcurrent
or short circuit
on the main breaker
, the breaker will trip to
protect the equipment from receiving too much
current
. Test supply voltage and verify it is
correct, and make any changes or repairs necessary to bring it back within specifications for
the starter unit. Cycle the breaker "OFF" and then "ON" again once the current has been
corrected to restore power to the
equipment
.
In the event of a
n
overload on the equipment side
, the thermal circuit protector inside the
enclosure will trip, cutting power to the equipment and protecting it from damage. To reset the
circuit protector,
verify the load on the circuit protector is not beyond maximum rating, and
press the reset button on the front of the starter unit to restore power to equipment.
DO NOT OPEN THE UNIT WITHIN THE HAZARDOUS AREA IF IT IS STILL RECEIVING
POWER.
DISCONNECT SUPPLY POWER IF ANY INTERNAL REPAIR IS NEEDED.
