5.10.1. Free-Run Mode
The cycle of the internal trigger signal in the Free-Run mode is decided by the one frame
image data transmission time and the sensor exposure time.
The one frame image data transmission time depends on the size of the image (ROI).
If the one frame image data transmission time is shorter than the sensor exposure time,
the frame rate will be ‘1 / (the sensor exposure time)’, and if the sensor exposure time is
shorter than the time one frame of image data is transmitted, the frame rate is '1 / (the
one frame image data transmission time).
5.10.2. External Sync Mode (Pulse Width Trigger)
In the External Sync Mode, the Camera maintains the standby status until the external
trigger signal is input and then exposes the sensor as long as the trigger signal width
and transfer the image data. In order to operate the camera with External Sync Mode,
User should the Trigger Source by the External Trigger port or the CC1 port and should
set the Sensor Exposure Time to the ‘
Pulse Width Trigger ’. In External Sync Mode, it is
impossible to control the exposure time and the frame rate because the control power of
the exposure time of the sensor and the camera's frame rate is given to the external
trigger device.
