Rate Limiting interface



All the ports support port ingress and egress rate control. For example, assume port

1 is 10Mbps, users can set

it‘s effective egress rate as 1Mbps, ingress rate as

500Kbps. The switch performs the ingress rate by packet counter to meet the

specified rate



Ingress:

Enter the port effective ingress rate (The default value is

―0‖)



Egress:

Enter the port effective egress rate (The default value is

―0‖)

And then, click

Apply

to apply the settings.

VLAN configuration

A Virtual LAN (VLAN) is a logical network grouping that limits the broadcast domain,

which would allow you to isolate network traffic, so only the members of the VLAN will

receive traffic from the same VLAN members. Basically, creating a VLAN from a switch

is logically equivalent to reconnecting a group of network devices to another Layer 2

switch. However, all the network devices are still plugged into the same switch physically.

The industrial switch supports port-based and 802.1Q (tagged-based) VLAN. The default

configuration of VLAN operation mode

is ―
