Security Settings
Select Security Setup from the Setup main BIOS setup
menu. All Security Setup options, such as password
protection and virus protection, are described in this
section. To access the sub menu for the following items,
select the item and press <Enter>:
Administrator Password
If you have set an administrator password, you should
enter the administrator password for accessing the BIOS
setup. Otherwise, you will only be able to see or change
selected fields in the BIOS setup program.
User Password
If you have set a user password, you must enter the user
password for booting and accessing the system; however,
some functions may be disabled.
To set an Administrator/User password:
Select the option item and press Enter.

From the Create New Password box, key in a

Confirm the password when prompted.

To change an administrator password:
Select the option item and press Enter.

From the Enter Current Password box, key in the

current password, then press enter.
From the Create New Password box, key in a new

password, then press Enter.
Confirm the password when prompted.

To clear the administrator password, follow the same
steps as in changing an administrator password, then
press Enter when prompted to create/confirm the
password.
