The meter does not constitute a safety risk whilst the meter cover is in place and the seals unbroken.

The communications interface is galvanically isolated from the mains supply (isolation specification is
in excess of the requirements for SELV circuits as specified in SANS IEC 60950).

tomer interface unit may be mounted in any convenient location inside a customer‟s

residence.
