F4 SETTING SERIAL COMMUNICATIONS MODE
Ensure that the
FTI 6
has an be assigned a unique imager address number
before setting the serial communications mode (refer to section F3).
To set the serial comms mode:
1. Ensure that the imager is switched ‘OFF’, open the rear access panel on
the imager.
2. Set the Serial comms setting switch to the required position (refer to Fig.
F3).
3. Close the rear access panel.
4. Repeat for each imager in a multi imager configuration.
The imager can now be switched ‘ON’.

NOTE
Do not use the ‘Test’ setting as the imager will not operate normally.
This setting is used by LAND with dedicated equipment only.
