Parallel Arm Rotary Cutter Options

The following options are available.

Gauge Wheels

Gauge Wheels carry the deck over uneven ground at an

adjusted cutting height. ARM2 and DECK cylinders must

be able to float with this option. Ratchet jacks provide

adjustment for setting the gauge wheel adjustment

height.

Tractor Control

ARM1, ARM2, DECK, and BREAKAWAY cylinders are

connected to the tractor duplex outlets. Four Duplex

outlets are required with this option. If gauge wheels are

included, two of the duplex outlets must have float

capabilities and must be connected to the ARM2 and

DECK cylinders.

Independent Control

There are two Independent control options:

•

Independent Float Control

•

Independent No-Float Control

Both options provide full control of ARM1, ARM2, DECK,

and BREAKAWAY cylinders electrically. The cylinders

are solenoid activated with momentary rocker switches or

ON/OFF push button switches on a control stick.
Independent Float Control provides the ability to allow

the deck to float while being carried on gauge wheels.
Independent No-Float Control does not provide this

capability.

Land Pride offers, as an accessory, the slow moving

vehicle sign with mounting blade (#1) for tractors not

equipped with a removable sign or when the tractor’s sign

does not fit Land Pride’s mounting socket (#4). See

Figure 4-1 for location of SMV mounting socket.
If you have need for mounting this sign on other

equipment, mounting hardware (#2, #3, & #4) can be

purchased from your nearest Land Pride dealer.
