Quick Hitch Hook-Up
The customer must purchase and install two
1.141" ID x 1.4375" OD x 2 1/2" long busings (Land Pride
Part No. 890-940C) on the lower hitch pins. The
customer supplied center hitch pin must be moved to the
lower hitch holes. Follow hook-up and unhook
instructions in the Quick Hitch Operator’s manual when
using a Quick Hitch.
Hydraulic Hook-Up
1.
Connect offset cylinder, angle cylinder, and tilt
cylinder couplings to the tractor’s duplex outlets.
2. Return to the tractor and operate cylinder control
levers only enough to verify cylinders are operating in
the preferred direction. Switch couplings at the
duplex outlet if a cylinder does not operate properly.
Check Clearances
1.
Extend offset and angle cylinders until blade end is in
line with a tractor tire. If needed, refer to
and
instructions on page 16.
2. Slowly raise 3-Point arms fully up and down to make
sure blade does not make contact with tractor tire
and drawbar.
a. Move or remove drawbar if it interferes with blade.
b. Set tractor control lever stop to restrict lifting
height if blade interferes with tractor tire.
3. Tilt end of blade closest to the tractor tire fully up and
repeat step 2 above. If needed, refer to
instructions on page 16.
4. Tilt end of blade closest to the tractor tire fully down
and repeat step 2 above.
5. Offset and angle blade in the opposite direction and
repeat steps 2-4 above to check for interference on
the other side.
6. Continue to cycle hydraulic cylinders back and forth
until they have been purged of air. (Cylinder rod will
move smoothly when purged.)
