WARNING
!
To avoid serious injury or death:
Check Euro style hitch fit-up frequently to make sure it is
properly secured under the attachment’s hooks and lock pins
are fully extended into the locking lugs. An improper fit-up can
result in the attachment coming loose and falling.
1.
Lower Euro hitch on front of loader down as far as
possible.
2. If required, manually move locking handle until
locking pins are fully retracted and ready for hook-up.
3. Carefully drive up to Bale Spear upper hooks until
mounting bar and hook guides on the Euro hitch are
aligned under the Bale Spear hooks.
4. Raise Euro hitch up until mounting bar is completely
captured inside the Bale Spear hooks.
5. Continue to raise Euro hitch up to allow bottom of
Bale Spear frame to swing in until pin holes in locking
lugs align with locking pins in Euro hitch. If
necessary, rotate top of Euro hitch back to help align
pin holes with locking pins.
6. If pins do not auto-lock into pin holes, then manually
operate Euro hitch lever to push locking pins into the
pin holes. Make sure lever is locked to keep pins from
backing out.
