The ceiling height (A) determines the method of installation.

If ceiling height is less than 2.45m:
‘Top plate’ fixing method (3 x person fit)

Fasten plate to ceiling, struts fasten to extractor, chimney slides over struts, lift whole unit up to fasten to
ceiling plate.

If ceiling height is more then 2.45m:
‘Extractor body’ fixing method (2/3 x persons fit - slightly easier)

Plate & struts fasten to ceiling, chimney sections are placed over struts and secured, then extractor is lifted
up to struts and fastened.
