Nozzles selection

Inside every PUMP/NOZZLE PRESSURE box there are two values. The flow rate in kg/h is expressed at the top, 

in kW at the bottom. 

Dual-pipe supply

Example: the boiler to which the burner must be coupled has a power at the firebox of 580 kW.

The burner functions at 12 bar and has three-stage functioning, therefore three nozzles. The flow rate must be 

fractioned with the following nozzles:

1 nozzle with  2 GPH on the third flame that at 12 bar develops 96,06 kW (8,10 kg/h)

1 nozzle with  3 GPH on the second flame that at 12 bar develops 144,20 kW (12,16 kg/h)

1 nozzle with  7 GPH on the first flame that at 12 bar develops 336,82 kW (28,40 kg/h)

Total of the three nozzles:  577,08 kW, as requested by the boiler.

If the best nozzle is not available, by acting on the regulation it is possible to vary the pump pressure in order 

within the limits of 11 - 14 bar, to obtain the desired flow rate.
