INSTALLATION AND OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
BOILER ROOM
The boiler, C type, can be installed also in normal dwelling houses, as set forth in the regulations in force (Pr.
D. no. 4192/93 and UNI 7129 standard). It is not necessary to prepare any vent, but the arrangement for a
correct air inlet and fume evacuation must be strictly complied with (Refer to the following paragraphs).
CONNECTION TO THE GAS PLANT
The boiler must be connected to the gas plant according to the regulations in force. To determine the piping
diameters, refer to the tables of the UNICIG 7129 standard, considering the boiler output as shown in the
technical data tables.
CONNECTION TO THE WATER CIRCUIT
The boiler must be connected to the water circuit according to the regulations in force. In case of hard waters
(above 20 French degrees), suitably treated water must be used in the plant. Should it be necessary to use anti-
freeze, observe the percentages suggested by the Manufacturing firms based on minimum temperatures,
perfectly mixing the anti-freeze with the water.
If there is no possibility of expansion in the hot water circuit, a
hot water expansion tank
must be installed.
WARNING: in some cases, unidirectional valves prevent hot water circuit or primary circuit failures. Moreover,
they can prevent natural circulation if the motor force of the same is less than 110 mm w.c. (maximum
difference in level between boiler and radiators: 3 m). If this does not occur, install an unidirectional valve
on the delivery piping with suitable charge loss, or a solenoid valve electrically connected in parallel to the
plant circulator (in parallel on terminals 11-13) or a holder, so as to prevent natural circulation.
The circulators mounted are three speeds type.
