I. INTRODUCTION
A. HOW a LakeAir UNIT WORKS
In business establishments, millions of airborne particles are continually being circu-
lated through the interior environment. A LakeAir unit removes these smoke, dust
dirt, and pollen particles with an electrostatic process that works this way:
1. The circulating fan draws dirt laden air
through the PREFILTER SCREEN which
collects large lint particles.
2. Then the IONIZING SECTION, with its
many fine ion wires, charges the airborne
particles. As the charged particles move
along the collecting section, they are col-
lected on the collector plates and trapped
there (just like a magnet attracts and collects
iron fillings).
3. The optional ACTIVATED CARBON
FILTER removes odors and freshens the air.
4. The cleaned and purified air is now dis-
charged to recirculate through your establish-
ment.
