Using the LTM-LSHD with Final Cut Server

8. Enter the IP address of the LTM-LSHD into the
"File Server Path". The afp:// prefix is unnecessary
as it is automatically added to the path name. (Fig-
ure 5)
9. Although the LairdShare requires no user authenti-
cation Final Cut Server expects one so you will
therfore need to assign a user name and pass-
word.
10. Click Continue
11. You now have the option of enabling the LTM-
LSHD as an "Archive Device" - Please refer to the
Final Cut Server documentation to decide if this is
appropriate for your setup.
12. Click Continue.
13. Configure scan settings as you see appropriate
14. Click Continue.
15. Configure transcode settings as you see appropriate
16. Click Continue.
17. Once you have finished with this procedure your the "Media Pool" folder on your LTM-LSHD is ready to
be used in a Final Cut Server setup
