3. Connect the power adapter to power on the radio and verify LEDs as shown in the following Figure 10:

To verify the COM port in the Device Manager, follow these steps:
1. Open Device Manager on your PC.
2. Verify the COM port is properly installed and available. If any issues are indicated on the COM port, verify that the
correct drivers are properly installed for the serial adapter used.
Note:
The assigned COM port should be less than 16 otherwise it will not register in the CU.
