WRIST BLOOD PRESSURE MONITOR
MEMORY FUNCTION
This device can store up to 60 measurements.
After each measurement, the following values are stored automatically: diastolic, systolic, pulse, date and
time, memory number, reference segments for the classification of the blood pressure values (see paragraph
“CLASSIFICATION OF THE BLOOD PRESSURE VALUES”) and the possible presence of an irregular pulse
(arrhythmias)
.
To call up the stored measurements, it is necessary to unlock the touch screen keys by shifting the keylock
switch to “ON”; then press the key “MEM” and on the upper left corner of the display the number of the stored
measurements appears. Each pressure of the key causes the scrolling of the stored data and on the left upper
corner of the display the memory number appears.
The number “60” corresponds to the oldest measurement, while the number “1” indicates the most recent value.
After 60 measurements, the oldest data are deleted automatically.
After about 2 minute from the release of the key “MEM”, the device switches off; otherwise, it is possible to
switch it off, by pressing the key “ON/OFF”.
DELETING THE STORED DATA
To delete all stored data, it is necessary to keep the key “MEM” pressed till the display shows “- -”; as soon as
the key is released, the display shows “0 SYS 0 DIA 0 PUL/min 00 M.” Now, all stored data have been deleted.
Moreover, when the batteries are replaced, all measurements are deleted automatically.
INDICATORS
The following symbols may appear on the display:
“Er 0”: No measurement could be taken as the arm moved, incorrect position, other …. see
section entitled “CORRECT MEASURING METHOD”.
“Er 1”: It was not possible to perform the systolic pressure measurement.
Do not move during the measurement and read the paragraph “CORRECT MEASUREMENT
METHOD” once again.
“Er 2”: It was not possible to perform the diastolic pressure measurement.
Do not move during the measurement and read the paragraph “CORRECT MEASUREMENT
METHOD” once again.
“Er 3”: The armband is too tight. Remove the armband and wind it correctly, read the paragraph
“ARMBAND POSITIONING” once again.
“Er 4”: The armband is too loose. Remove the armband and wind it correctly, read the paragraph
“ARMBAND POSITIONING” once again.
“Er 5”: The value of the systolic pressure is greater than 300 mmHg.
Await 5/10 minutes before performing a new measurement. Read the paragraph “ARMBAND
POSITIONING” once again and repeat the operation properly.
“Er 6”, “Er 7”, “Er 8”, and “Er A”:
It was not possible to perform the measurement due to a
malfunction. Await 5/10 minutes before performing a new
measurement; if the display shows again one of these indicators,
refer to your dealer.
