Lay the bed on 2" X 4" timbers in the upside down position. Lift the legs to the vertical position
and lower them onto the bed. Secure with the fixing screws provided.
Note.
At least two people will be needed to perform the
assembly, one to hold the leg in position and one to fit the fixing
screws.
Note. If you have any doubt about the described procedure,
seek professional assistance. Do not attempt any procedure
that you feel is unsafe, or that you do not have the physical
capability of achieving.
Fit the 4 leveling feet to the lathe legs with the lock nut on the
underside of the leg.
Once both legs have been fitted turn the assembly up to the correct position.
Assemble the head stock, tool rest and tailstock back onto the bed of the lathe and fit the
stops.
