Cabinet sides
To unpack your oscillating edge sander, you will need a knife and tin snips.

Using the tin snips, cut the banding that is securing the packing box to the pallet
[if fitted].
WARNING: EXTREME CAUTION MUST BE USED, AS THE
BANDING WILL SPRING AND COULD CAUSE INJURY.

. Dismantle the box and remove the parts that come packed with the machine.

Un-bag all the parts and clean off the protective grease where applicable. Lay
out the parts in the groups that they were packed in.
Note:
The sanding head is heavy, and you must use caution when removing the
sanding head from the box base.

The machine is heavy. Ensure that you have sufficient people to assist
you.

Assembly and setup
Assembling the sanding head to the cabinet
The sanding head can be fitted to the cabinet with the doors either to the back or
front of the machine to suit your installation.
Note:
The machine is heavy. Ensure that you have sufficient people to assist
you.

The Cabinet comes disassembled and has to be assembled to the sanding head.
There are two main ways of doing this. Assemble the cabinet and then assemble
the sanding head to the cabinet, or build the cabinet on to the sanding head. This
will require the sanding head to be on the floor upside down. We have found that
this is the easiest method.
