Loosen the chain guard plate and remove.
The plate has keyhole slots for easy removal.

Loosen the chain by releasing
the chain cam and slide the chain
block off.

Pull the chain through the headstock and
remove it from the drive dog gear. It is not
necessary to remove the chain from the copy
saddle.

Replace the panel and the drive dog to stop
saw dust getting in to the enclosure.

Leave the chain attached to the copy saddle and it is recommended that the chain is
stored in a plastic bag attaches to the copy saddle. This should reduce the possibility
of damage and help to keep the chain clean.
9/
To replace the chain reverse the procedure.
