11 – Before connecting the device to mains outlet, check whether mains parameters are com -
pliant with the values indicated on rating plate of the device.
When the device is used in the bathroom, unplug after use, since the
proximity of water presents a hazard even when the device is switched off.
Never put the device on wet surfaces if its connected to the power supply.

II. Operating instruction
Prior to first use:
1 – Remove the protective film and all other elements of the packaging.
2 – Unwind and straighten the power cord.
Note: There may be a small amount of smoke or odour during the first time you use the
toaster but this is normal since some heating elements might have been covered with
grease. Don’t worry, it will disappear after some time.
Use – exploitation
1 – Make sure that the device is not exposed to water, and that you are not Standing on a
wet surface.
2 – Connect the device to a suitable outlet.
PLEASE NOTE: Do not use the device on artificial hair. The device may be used on
natural hair only.
3 – Turn on the curling tongs with the switch (6). The indicator light (5) lights up and the he -
ating surface (1) reaches operating temperature in about 30-60 seconds.
4 – Holding the handle (7), press and hold the lever release switch (3). Place a strand of hair
(3-5 cm) between the lever and the barrel.
