TECHNICAL NOTE:
To achieve USB 2.0 speeds, your drive
must be connected to a USB 2.0 host port. If it is connected to a
USB 2.0 port, your drive will operate at USB 2.0 speeds.
*Most computers do not come from the factory with eSATA or
FireWire 800 ports, so you may need to purchase a PCI, PCI-X or
PCI-Express card to be able to connect your LaCie hard disk via
eSATA or FireWire 800 interface. LaCie offers a wide selection of
