STEP 3 | Prepare the Rapids™ system by carefully removing the housing cover
and detaching the Display Cable.
The metal housing cover is screwed in and attached to the system for
shipping. The metal cover needs to be removed before mounting the
unit. Remove the metal housing cover with care as not to pull on the Dis-
play Cable.
A total of seven (7) Phillips™-head screws need to be removed to de-
tach the housing cover: three (3) on the top of the housing, three (3)
on the left-hand side and one (1) underneath.
The Phillips™-head differentiates these screws from the other screws
holding the base system together. DO NOT REMOVE THE OTHER
SCREWS.
Once the screws are removed, slowly and carefully remove the cover
until you are able to reach the Display Cable and unhook it.
STEP 4 | Using a center punch, mark the center of the five (5) crosshairs, ,
located on the template.
Check with your maintenance personnel or contractor re-
garding which fasteners would work best for mounting the
Rapids™ to your specific wall.
MOUNTING THE RAPIDS™
All composition, condition and construction, as well as the
type of fasteners to be used should be considered when
mounting this unit. Both the mounting surface and fasteners
selected must be capable of supporting a minimum weight
of, 225lbs./102kg If you have inadequate support or fasten-
ers in place, may result in damage to the mounting surface
and or the equipment. If you are unsure of how to mount
the water system, please consult with your building mainte-
nance personnel or local contractor.

STEP 5 | Drill proper sized holes into the wall before placing the fasteners that
will mount the Rapids™ unit.
