4.3 MAIN CONTROLS
This section provides basic instructions on how to navigate through the Video Processor’s system
of menus and sub-menus. The six main workflow icons on the left side of the screen represent high
level functions relevant to the user, the patient, and image display and management features. Each
menu category and its associated sub-menu settings and options are described in this section.
4.3.1 Patient Screen
The first screen icon is Patient. The sub-menu options (Figure 4-C Patient Day
List and Figure 4-D Patient Directory) branching from the main Patient screen are
listed and described in this section.

Patient Day List
The Video Processor’s Patient Day List sub-menu options are described in Table 4.3.1 below:
FUNCTION OPTIONS
Start Procedure/
End Procedure Selects the highlighted patient from the Day List for a new procedure
or ends the procedure for the current patient and clears the information
from the screen.
Remove Patient Removes manually scheduled patient from the Day List. Patients
scheduled through the EMR system cannot be removed and are
automatically removed the next day.
Archives Opens the Archives screen to view saved images and video clips for the
selected patient.
Refresh Updates the Day List to display any newly added patients from the EMR
system.
