Removing the Din Rail Mounting Bracket in the 4B75 Case
A large number of components of the A75D(E), when using the 4B75 case, are mounted behind or require
access behind the DIN Rail Mounting bracket. In order to remove the DIN Rail mounting bracket, all wiring to
the components on the DIN Rail mounting bracket must be disconnected. Start by removing the wires from the
DIN Rail AC input and DC output terminals. Be sure to mark or label the wires so that they can be easily
reinstalled (It may be a good idea to tape the wires to the bottom or side of the case and label the tape). Next
remove the wires connecting the shunt, again be sure to mark or label the wires so that they can be easily
reinstalled (It may be a good idea to tape the wires to the bottom or side of the case and label the tape).
Remove the two bolts on both sides of the bracket and remove the bracket. Installation is the reverse of
removal.
WARNING: take care to plug all wires/cables into there correct locations.
4.3.1 S2A-362 (Control Card)
In all A75D(E) units, the S2A-362 Circuit Card is located towards the bottom of the door or front panel.
Depending on when the A75D(E) was manufactured, the card may be affixed to the case using either a screw-
screw standoff or a snap-screw standoff. Before removing the card unplug all cables and connectors, make a
note of where the cables plug in.
Each connection port on the Card is labeled; it is strongly recommended to
label each cable with the name of the port it connects to.
Remove the circuit card from the standoffs; if the card
uses screw-screw standoffs simply remove the four screws holding the card to the standoffs. If the card uses
snap-screw standoffs work the board off of the standoffs by pinching the snap in and carefully pulling the board
out. Installation is the reverse of removal.
WARNING: Take care to plug all wires/cables into there
correct locations.
4.3.2 S2A-225C (Display Driver Card)
In all A75D(E) units, the S2A-225C Circuit Card is located towards the top of the door or front panel. The card
is affixed to the case using a screw-screw standoff. Before removing the card unplug all cables and connectors,
make a note of where the cables plug in.
Each connection port on the Card is labeled; it is strongly
recommended to label each cable with the name of the port it connects to.
Remove the circuit card from the
standoffs by simply removing the four screws holding the card to the standoffs and carefully pulling the board
out. Installation is the reverse of removal.
WARNING: Take care to plug all wires/cables into there
correct locations.
4.3.3 S2A- 364 (Customer Connection Card)
4B75 Case
The S2A-364 is mounted to a bracket located at the top left of the case. The S2A-360S is mounted to the same
bracket. If either the Relay Alarm Package or the DNP3/Modbus Package is installed there will be three screws
at the front of the bracket that need to be removed first. Remove the connecters from both the S2A-364 and
the S2A-360S. Be sure to mark or label the wires so that they can be easily reinstalled (It may be a good idea to
tape the wires to the top or side of the case and label the tape). Next remove the two bolts at the back of the
bracket. After the bracket is removed the four screws that hold the S2A-364 to the bracket can be removed.
Installation is the reverse of removal.
WARNING: Take care to plug all wires/cables into there correct
locations.
475/975/72 Case
The S2A-364 is mounted to the front of the card house. Remove the ribbon cables from the S2A-364 card.
Remove the four screws that hold the S2A-364 card to the card house, and gently remove the card. Installation
is the reverse of removal.
WARNING: Take care to plug all wires/cables into there correct locations.
