2.3.3  Installation 

Once a mounting location is determined using the recommendations outlined in paragraph 2.3.1, perform 
the following to the extent necessary to install the CP-2500: 

 

1.

 

Cut the proper sized hole per dimensional instructions provided in Figure 2-1.  

 

NOTE 

Installer must take into consideration the length of the wiring harness 
before installing the CP-2500 into the instrument panel. The connection 
of mating connector may be required before installation of the unit. 

 
2.

 

The CP-2500 mounts on the backside of the instrument panel. Carefully hold the CP-2500 in place 
behind the instrument panel.   

3.

 

Secure CP-2500 to instrument panel using (4) mounting screws (provided in the installation kit) and 
mooring plate or nut plates (as applicable).  

 

2.3.4  Performance Test 

After installation is completed, complete the installation checkout procedures detailed in section 3. 

 

2.3.5  Remove and Replacement Procedures 

If the CP-2500 requires removal after initial installation, replace it using the instructions given in the 
maintenance section of this manual and perform the Installation Checkout procedures located in the 
Installation Checkout Section of this manual.
