Nailer operates normally but
does not drive the fasteners to
flush.
Adjust the depth of drive setting to the deepest. Maximise the air pressure
(max pressure is specified on the nailer)
The wood is too hard for the chosen length of fasteners
The fasteners is driven to flush
at normal speed, but when
increasing speed it is not driven
to flush.
Maximise the air pressure (max pressure is specified on the nailer)
Use an air supply hose with a larger inner diameter.
Use a shorter air supply hose.
The fastener is driven too
deeply into the work piece.
Move the nozzle downwards to reduce the driving depth.
Reduce the air pressure.
A fasteners is jammed.
Remove the air supply. Remove the jammed fastener.
Tool operates normally, but no
fasteners is driven.
Make sure that the fasteners are placed correctly in the magazine. The
fasteners must be able to move freely back and forth. If necessary, clean the
magazine for any possible remains or jammed fasteners. Make sure that the
airsupply is sufficient. Use only fasteners recommended by the producer.
If you cannot solve the problem, the nailer must be sent to your TJEP dealer. Never use a damaged nailer.
Repairs must be performed only by professionals trained in the repair of TJEP nailers.
