Settings
Using the Hearing Device
Compatibility Function
Your device has been tested and rated for hearing
device compatibility. To use this function effectively, set
the
Hearing Aid option to On .
1. Press
Home > Menu > Settings > Sound
.
2.
Tap
Hearing Aid
. (A check mark indicates this
feature is enabled.)

Device” on page 170.
Security Settings
Your Device’s Lock Feature
You can increase your device’s security by creating a
screen unlock pattern, PIN, or password (disabled by
default). When enabled, you must draw the correct
unlock pattern on the screen, or enter your PIN or
password to unlock and regain access to the device.
Setting the Screen Lock
To create an unlock pattern:
1.
Press
Home > Menu > Settings >
Location & security > Set up screen lock > Pattern
.
2.
Read the information on the screen, and then tap
Next
.
3.
Review the onscreen tutorial on pattern creation,
and then tap
Next
.
4.
Draw a pattern by touching any onscreen point,
and then without removing your finger from the
screen, dragging your finger over adjacent points
until the points in your pattern are connected by a
gray line and each is enclosed in a blue circle.
