(7) INSTRUMENT LIGHTS INSPECTION

Periodically  inspect  the  condition  of  the  steering 

handlebar. Worn out or loose steering bearings may be 

dangerous. Move the handlebar upward and downward 

to  check  for  abnormal  noise.  Move  the  steering 

handlebar rightward and leftward to check for any loose 

parts.  Check  if  the  handlebar  rotates  freely.  If  any 

abnormal  condition  is  found,  ask  a  KYMCO  dealer  to 

inspect and adjust the steering.

Check the  speedometer for proper operation.
Check the fuel gauge for proper operation.
Check the low engine oil lever indicator light for proper 
operation.

NOTE: 

When

 

turning  on  the  ignition  key,  the 

indicator  of  speedometer  can  be  running 
automatically from zero to top speed and then back to 
zero. The function is  just checking the performance of 
speedometer unit.

Check  the  turn  signal  indicator  lights  and  high  beam 
indicator light for proper operation.
