Engine Coolant Overflow Tank

The engine coolant in the radiator will overflow to the engine
coolant overflow tank when the engine overheats.
Overflowed engine coolant goes back to the radiator when
the engine cools. If engine coolant remains in the engine
coolant overflow tank, replenish the radiator with specified
engine coolant.
Make sure the side stand is in the up position.
Replenish the overflow tank with specified engine coolant.
Engine coolant must be filled up to the upper line.
Engine Coolant Level Inspection
CAUTION
You can be injured by scalding fluid or steam if you
open the radiator cap when the engine is hot. Don’t
open the radiator cap when the engine is hot. Wait until
engine cools.
Check if the engine coolant level of overflow tank is
sufficient.
If necessary, turn the overflow tank cap and remove it.
