Optional equipment

This chapter provides an overview of optional equipment for the BE
plough. Limitations apply. Please contact your Kverneland dealer for
more information.

Wheel

A range of rubber wheels is available; see table on page 12 - tyre pres-
sure.

Skimmer

Recommended for effective ploughing down of grass and stubble.
Two types or skimmer are available: manure skimmers and maize
skimmers. Both can be equipped with either a long share for more ef-
fective burial of plant waste or a short share for working deeper with
the skimmer.

Available with skimmer extensions.

Skimming board

Particularly useful when large quantities of plant waste (manure,
straw, etc.) are present. Using a skimming board gives more free
space between the bodies, compared to using a skimmer.

Disc coulter

Disc coulters are available in sizes of 45, 50 and 55 cm (18, 20 and 22
in.) in diameter, plain or notched. They are mounted on an arm and are
easy to adjust to suit all conditions.

They are also available as a front-mounted, sprung disc coulter vari-
ant. This is suitable for very large quantities of plant waste.
