Special case: Installing in a worktop made 
of stone

With a worktop made of marble, granite or similar material, the
clips are not screwed to the cut-out but to the hob.
for 30 mm worktops:

for 40 mm worktops:

• Insert the cooking area surface edge at the back and carefully

lower it. Use manual pressure on the clips here.

• Press the cooking area surface down until it is entirely in

contact atop the worktop.

• If the cutout in the worktop is a little too big it is possible to

bend the clip retainers outward to increase spring tension.

Installing several hobs

When installing several hobs side by side please observe the
minimum distances between the worktop openings as shown in
the drawings:

Electrical connection

• Statutory regulations and the connection specifications issued

by the local power supply company must be strictly observed.

• Any superfluous cable must be removed from the installation

area beneath the appliance.

• Make sure that the local mains voltage is the same as the

voltage on the rating label.

• The induction hob has been fitted with a connection cable in

the factory.

• The appliance is supplied ready to plug in. It should be

connected only to a properly protected wall socket. 

• If damaged, the Customer Service must replace the

connection cable installed with a special connection cable.

• The wall-socket can be mounted under the working top below

the hob or in a side cupboard in the wall. Do not mount it
above the cooking area!

• Full protection against accidental contact must be ensured on

installation.

Mains voltage: 230 - 240V~, 50-60 Hz

Start of operation

Once the hob has been installed and the power supply has been
provided (mains connected) an automatic test of the controls will
be carried out and information for Customer Service will be
indicated.
Briefly wipe over the surface of the hob with a sponge and soapy
water and then dry with a clean cloth.
