Basic settings
Setting the clock
After your microwave oven is first plugged-in or after a power failure, the clock display will flash to
indicate that the time shown is not correct.
1. Press the “ + ” and “ - ” keys until the Clock
indicator flashes.
2. Press the start key. The hour digits will flash
(steps 1 and 2 are not necessary when the
oven is first plugged in or after a power
failure).
3. Press the “+” and “-“keys to set the hours.
4. Press the
start key to confirm the hours.
The minutes digits will flash.
5. Press the “+” and “-“ keys to set the minutes.
6. Press the
start key to confirm the minutes.
Child lock
The oven can be blocked against improper use
(e.g., to prevent children from using it).
1. To block, hold down the
child lock key for 3
seconds. On the display the child lock
indicator appears. If a key is pressed now,
the word SAFE appears on the display and
the oven will not operate.
2. To unlock, press the child lock key for 3
seconds again.
Timer
1. With the “ + ” and “ - ” keys, select the Timer
indicator light .
2. Press the start key .
3. The numbers flash. Use the “ + ” and “ - ” keys
to set the desired time.
4. Press the start key.
