Installation of glass-ceramic cooking areas

■

Always lift the cooking area by holding it at the sides. Do not lift it by the
front bar.

■

Be extremely careful when installing! Do not place or drop any sharp or
pointed tools (screwdrivers etc.) on the glass surface!

■

The glass-ceramic cooking area must have a level and flush bearing. Any
distortion may lead to fracture of the glass panel.

– First of all make a clean cut into the worktop.

– Install the mounting panel in accordance with the illustration.

– Stick on the enclosed sealing for the hob and check to see that it is posi-

tioned correctly and adheres perfectly.
If the worktops are uneven (tiles, etc.) do not use the sealing enclosed. Ap-
ply a sealing compound which is unaffected by changes in temperature.

– Put the hob into the worktop cut-out and align it.

– Screw the hob to the assembly panel from the bottom.
