FITTING THE SANDING DISK
1.
Make sure that the mains lead is disconnected from the main supply.
2.
Turn the machine upside down so the superior part lean on the floor.
3.
Remove screw and the conical washer while locking plate with pin in the hole
on the machine casing.
4.
Check that the plate surface is cleaned and choose a sanding disk (diameter
175mm) of a suitable grain and with a not damaged surface.
5.
Fasten the sanding disk using screw and the conical washes, locking plate
with pin in the hole on the machine casing.
ADJUSTING FOR SANDING DISK CENTERING
The sanding disk has to be manually centred on the plate.
Warning:
The sanding disk is in the correct position when there are not
any oscillatory eccentric movements as to motor base, or excessive vibrations.
SETTING THE DISK INCLINATION AS TO WORKING SURFACE
The sanding plate is in the form of a wide truncated cone. For the plate to work flat
its axis must be slightly inclined to the floor surface.
The angle is given by the position of the wheels mounted on support, which slides
along a guide and can be locked using knob. The wheel mounting can be raised or
lowered to the required position by loosening the knob.
Warning:
When the machine is working do not change the position of
machine height. This procedure can compromise the stability of machine and may
result in personal injury because its control may be difficult or unstable (risk of
accidental overturning). Determine the chosen position of wheels only when the
motor is off and plug is not connected.
PERIODIC MAINTENANCE
To keep the machine in good working order, the following items must be periodically
checked and maintained.
SANDING CHAMBER (for user)
Periodically remove sawdust from the chamber in order to prevent built-up of
potentially hazardous dust.
PLATE (for user)
Periodically check the plate surface. Remove any accumulated dirt.
